Hailing from the rugged north Atlantic shores of Ireland, David Tennant is a man of storytelling experience in the film, television and commercial entertainment worlds. Tennant’s award-winning career flourished in the UK, where he worked as ‘The Other’ in a series of creative teams for a collection of rather large, global advertising agencies.

Post immigration to Canada, Tennant paid weekly rents working freelance for other grown-up folks, like GREY, FCB, JWT, PUBLICIS & BBDO, whilst focused on his passion for filmmaking. It wasn’t long before he found himself behind the lens as a Director/Cameraman.

DT’s film, television and commercial narratives tend toward the cinematic: Natural performance, visual storytelling, VFX and fast-paced action, interwoven with a visceral backbone of embedded realism.

David has collaborated & created content for various international clients including Bacardi, Bell, BMO, Budweiser, Canadian Armed Forces, Hudson Bay Company, Kelloggs, Rogers Communications, Royal Bank of Canada, Singapore Airforce, Sony Entertainment, SyFy Channel, Tim Hortons, Toyota, Unilever and many more wonderful humans.
